WINSLOW — Junior Harrison Clark delivered a pinch-hit RBI single with one out in the bottom of the seventh to give Winslow a 3-2 victory over Medomak in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B game Tuesday afternoon.

Starting pitcher Trevor Lovely went 3-for-4 for the Raiders (12-3).

Zack Guptill led off the seventh with a single and then reached second on an error. After he advanced to third on a sacrifice fly, Medomak (3-13) intentionally walked the next two hitters before Clark delivered the game-winning hit.

Jake Trask earned the victory in relief of Lovely. Trask struck out all three batters he faced in the top of the seventh.

WATERVILLE 12, MCI 0, 5 innings: After giving up three hits in the first inning, Cam Gardiner and Dalton Wood combined to keep the Huskies hitless as the Purple Panthers scored the KVAC B victory in five innings in Pittsfield.

Dan Pooler was 2-for-2 with a triple, Aidan Fitzgerald went 4-for-4 and Kaleb Kane went 3-for-4 for Waterville (13-2). Paul Dionne had a double for MCI (2-13).

SOFTBALL

MT. BLUE 4, MT. ARARAT 1: The Cougars (7-9) kept their solid season going with a KVAC A victory over the Eagles in Farmington.

Kayleigh Fontaine had a pair of singles and two runs scored for Mt. Blue (7-9), while Hailey Farrington picked up the win in the circle. Mt. Ararat falls to 4-12 with the loss.

WINSLOW 7, MEDOMAK 5: Liz Pullen had a pair of singles and two runs scored, while Paige Veileux had two singles and two RBIs to lead the Black Raiders to the win in Winslow.

Brooke Haskell knocked in two runs with a single for Winslow (11-4), and winning pitcher Hillary Libby struck out 11 and allowed two earned runs in five innings pitched.

SKOWHEGAN 10, MESSALONSKEE 6: On Monday, Taylor Johnson went 4-for-4 and earned the pitching win with four innings of scoreless relief as the Indians defeated the Eagles.

Johnson scored three runs, and in her four innings in the circle, she allowed two hits and struck out seven.

Emma Fitzgerald, Morgan Buker, and Renee Wright each added two hits for the Indians (12-4).

Delaney Collier and Madisyn Charest had two singles apiece for Messalonskee (11-5).

BOYS LACROSSE

MT. BLUE 6, OXFORD HILLS 5: Leo Flanney made 17 saves to help the Cougars get the KVAC win over the Vikings. Casey Taylor led the offense with four goals, while Sam Taylor and Liam Welch scored one each.

GIRLS LACROSSE

MESSALONSKEE 18, OXFORD HILLS 9: Sydney Gagne scored six goals and added an assit to lead the Eagles to the Class A win in South Paris. Ally Fischang added three goals for the winners while India Languet had two goals and four asist and Nathalie St. Pierre notched two goals and one assist. Mikayla Turner, Casidy Charette, Brooke Quirion and Avery Brennan each scored a goal for Messalonskee (9-3) while Sydney Collier made seven saves in goal.
