FARMINGTON — A Farmington man is being held on $75,000 cash bail after being arrested in connection with what police said was a possible rape Sunday night.
Jonathan Dumont, 29, has been charged with three counts of class A gross sexual assault.
Police said the victim did not know Dumont, but said he had been to the victim’s residence once prior to the incident, according to a statement from Farmington police Sgt. Edward Hastings,
Dumont returned to the victim’s address Sunday to fix a door and that is when the alleged assault happened, Hastings said.
Dumont is being held at the Franklin County Jail and is due for a court appearance on Aug. 5.
