HALLOWELL — Spectrum Generations Cohen Community Center announced it was selected to receive a $1,000 grant to support its Meals on Wheels Program from the Darden Restaurants Foundation, Inc. as part of the Restaurant Community Grants program of Darden Restaurants.
The grant will help Spectrum Generations deliver nutritious meals to approximately 200 homebound seniors and disabled adults in the central Maine area. As part of the Meals on Wheels program, recipients also receive a safety check and friendly visit from a volunteer.
