HOULTON — Maine’s agricultural fair season is set to begin with the Houlton Agricultural Fair.
The Houlton fair lasts from Thursday to Sunday and will include livestock shows, a demolition derby, and antique tractor pulls. The fair takes place at Houlton Community Park.
Some of Maine’s 24 agriculture fairs will include the Ossipee Valley Fair in South Hiram from July 10-13, the Waterford World’s Fair in North Waterford from July 18-20, and the Bangor State Fair from July 25 to Aug. 3. Fair season ends with the Fryeburg Fair from Sept. 28 to Oct. 5.
