UNITY — The Sheepscot Wellspring Land Alliance will celebrate the Maine outdoors with its annual Midsummer Celebration set for 6-8 p.m. Thursday, July 24. The picnic is free to all and will be held rain or shine under the shelter near Unity Pond at Unity College Field of Dreams, U.S. Route 202. The event will feature a potluck picnic with grillables and lawn games provided.
The celebration is sponsored by the Freedom General Store, providing food for the event, including local grass-fed beef from Dave Bennett beef farm in Freedom.
