WINDSOR — The eighth annual Windsor Days will take place on Friday and Saturday at the Windsor Fairgrounds.

On Friday, there will be a walk-a-thon to benefit Windsor Rescue at 6 p.m. Registration begins at 5:30 p.m.

Activities scheduled for Saturday include:

• A pancake breakfast sponsored by the Windsor Memorial Baptist Church will take place from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. in the administration building.

• A parade from the Windsor School to the Fairgrounds, 10 a.m.-noon. Prizes will be awarded at noon.

• A bungee run, gladiator joust and bounce house with slide, 10:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

• The Windsor Volunteer Fire Department’s second annual craft fair and treasures sale, noon-7 p.m.

• A magic and balloon show — The BJ Hickman Magic Show — from noon to 1 p.m. Hickman will stroll the fair before and after his show to provide entertainment.

• “Take It or Leave It” game will begin at 3 p.m., with a break from 5 to 6 p.m. Participants must be 16 or older.

• A baked bean supper sponsored by the North Windsor Baptist Church will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. There will be baked beans, hot dogs, coleslaw, rolls, salad and dessert.

• Fireworks sponsored by Hussey’s General Store at 9:15 p.m.

The Windsor Historical Society Museum and Blacksmith Shop will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. They will also sponsor a scavenger hunt.

Ongoing activities throughout the fairground include wood carving and others demonstrations, games, a prize table, raffles, food vendors and more.
