Domestic violence suspect in Avon to be sent back to Colorado

A Colorado man wanted in a domestic violence incident was arrested Wednesday in the Franklin County town of Avon and will be sent back to Colorado to face charges.

At 9:19 p.m., police received a report that Nathan Pierce, 53, was being loud and harassing on Rangeley Road in Avon. After arriving, Franklin County Sheriff’s Department deputies learned that Pierce, who had been living in Madrid Township, was wanted in Colorado on a warrant.

Maine police can’t arrest people on out-of-state charges, so Pierce was arrested on the charge of fugitive from justice and will be extradited.

IN FRANKLIN COUNTY, Tuesday, Justin Ridley, 21, of Dixfield, was arrested on the charge of unpaid fines or fees for aggravated criminal mischief.

Wednesday, Susan Wilson, 43, of Kingfield, was arrested on the charge of domestic violence assault.

Edith Green, 35, of Strong, was arrested on the charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.

Thursday, Lisa Hall, 51, of Lewiston, was arrested on the charge of domestic violence assault.

IN SOMERSET COUNTY, Wednesday at 11:05 a.m., Hunter Charles Prew, 18, of Canaan, was arrested on charges of burglary, theft and criminal mischief.

2:17 p.m., Todd Chambers, 43, of Dover-Foxcroft, was arrested on a charge of operating under the influence.

4:03 p.m., Joshua Dax Nichols, 38, of Embden, was arrested on charges of violating condition of release and operating after suspension.

5:34 p.m., Timothy Matthew Timberlake, 51, of Skowhegan, was arrested on a warrant for unpaid fines and fees.

Also at 1 a.m., Sean Rancourt, 29, listed as transient, arrested on charges of burglary, aggravated criminal mischief and possession of burglary tools; he also was arrested on a warrant and a probation hold, on Summer Street.
