Winslow and Waterville Public Libraries have joined forces to bring children’s performer Mr. Harley back to Maine for a free family concert at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 26, at Fort Halifax Park. Mr. Harley, who has been living in Florida for the past few years, will return with his band, The Strollers, for an action-packed musical morning in the Park, on the waterfront in Winslow.
The program will feature favorite songs like “Stegameganoodlefudanappysaurus,” enthusiastic sing-a-longs, and new songs from Mr. Harley’s newest CD, “Blue Shirt”.
Families are encouraged to bring blankets and even a picnic brunch. In case of rain, the concert will be moved to the auditorium of Winslow High School, 20 Danielson St., Winslow.
