A New Sharon man walked away from a motorcycle accident with minor injuries after swerved off the road and landed in a field Friday.
Robin Flagg was driving north on Starks Road, also Route 134, at 2:30 p.m. when he tried to pass a car and lost control of his motorcycle, Franklin County Sheriff Scott Nichols.
Franklin County Sheriff Scott Nichols said Flagg and his motorcycle cleared a fence and rolled into a field along Starks Road.
Flagg was not wearing a helmet but was not seriously injured, said Nichols. He was treated and released at Franklin Memorial Hospital in Farmington. The 2005 Suzuki motorcycle was totally destroyed.
