SKOWHEGAN — As a collaborative effort, GFWC Semper Fidelis Club and GFWC Skowhegan Women’s Club will host an antique appraisal event from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 30, under the tent at the municipal parking lot. The Riverfest Antiquity Appraisal Show will feature instant, on site appraisals by Tim Gould of Gould’s Auction Company for antique or collectible items. Suggested donation is $5 for one item or $10 for three items appraised. Proceeds will benefit Spectrum Generations Meals on Wheels program.

The event is being held as part of Skowhegan’s Riverfest and a jazz concert will also take place. Participants are encouraged to bring antique items for appraisal. This event is first-come, first-served.
