FARMINGTON — A Bridge Street man was charged with indecent conduct after police received a half dozen complaints he was naked in public.

Joel Batzell, 64, was arrested on the charge of indecent conduct, said Detective Marc Bowering of the Farmington Police Department. Batzell was reported at the corner of Bridge Street and U.S. Route 2, which is near his home.

Bowering said police are familiar with Batzell for the same type of behavior. He said Batzell was cooperative with the police but did not offer an explanation for his alleged behavior.

IN CLINTON, Wednesday at 9:26 p.m., harassment was reported on Darling Avenue.

9:53 p.m., a report of a missing juvenile was investigated on Old County Road.

12:38 p.m., a civil complaint was investigated on Cedar Brook lane.

4:01 p.m., a report of an open door or window on Mountain Avenue resulted in the building being checked and secured.

4:20 p.m., paperwork was reported served on Oakland Road.

4:58 p.m., a report of juvenile offenses was taken on Robinson Street.

7:13 p.m., a complaint was reported on Western Avenue.

7:20 p.m., a disturbance was reported on Main Street.

9:37 p.m., harassment was reported on Cardinal Drive.

Wednesday at 12:52 a.m., loud noise was reported on Kelley Street.

8:30 a.m., a complaint was reported on Ohio Hill Road.

1:28 p.m., a theft was reported on Center Road.

3:17 p.m., a reported accident was investigated on Norridgewock Road.

7:20 p.m., the person or persons who prompted a complaint of juvenile offenses at American Lodge on Main Street was gone when officers arrived.

9 p.m., assault was reported on Crane Drive.

10:24 p.m., a disturbance resulted in the issuance of a warning on Cardinal Drive.

IN FARMINGTON, Wednesday at 8:54 a.m., harassment was reported on Sawtelle Lane.

Thursday at 6:15 a.m., an animal complaint was reported in the parking lot of the University of Maine at Farmington gym on Lincoln Street.

IN OAKLAND, Wednesday at 9:48 a.m., a subpoena was reported served on Kennedy Memorial Drive.

9:56 a.m., a subpoena was reported served on Powell Avenue.

2:25 p.m., a report of bad checks was taken at Buddies Grocery on Main Street.

8:48 p.m., officers could not locate the source of a fireworks complaint from Church Street.

IN WATERVILLE, Wednesday at 10:35 a.m., a theft was reported at the U.S. Social Security Administration office on Colby Street.

SUMMONS

IN WINSLOW, Wednesday at 11:59 p.m., Ryan Lewis Mosher, 20, of Nowell Road, was summoned on charges of possession of marijuana, the sale or use of drug paraphernalia and a minor transporting liquor on China Road.

ARRESTS

IN FRANKLIN COUNTY, Tuesday, Daniel Keirstead, 26, of Rangeley, was arrested on a warrant for unpaid fines or fees and operating after suspension.

Wednesday, Scott Henry, 47, of Chesterville, was arrested on the charge of violating a condition of release.

Edward Timler, 41, of Norridgewock, was arrested on a warrant for unpaid fines or fees.

Glendon Ladd, 25, of Freeman, was arrested on the charge of possesssion of a firearm by a felon.

Eric Abbot, 37, of Wilton, was arrested on the charge of operating under the influence.

IN WATERVILLE, Wednesday at 3:35 p.m., James Butcher, 29, of 5 Belmont Ave., arrested on two warrants, on Cool Street.

IN WINSLOW, Thursday at 3:34 a.m., Nicole Lynn Liberty, 39, of Canaan Road in Clinton, was arrested on a charge of domestic violence assault on China Road.
