GARDINER — The 18th annual Rotary Golf Tournament in memory of Carl Hubbard is planned for Sunday, Aug. 3, with a 1 p.m. shotgun start at Natanis Golf Course. This golf course is 735 Webber Pond Road in Vassalboro.

Those who are non-golfer, but would love to help out a local Rotary Club, consider sponsoring a hole during the tournament. For $100, a sign will be placed along the course acknowledging the donation. Please call Gardiner Rotarians Brent Hall at 441-0968 or Chris Markos at 329-3556 to be a sponsor. Registration and sponsorship forms are electronically available at http://www.gardinerrotary.org.

There are other ways businesses may sponsor this event. There are $1,000 Platinum Level Sponsorships or $500 Gold Level Sponsorships. For information about either of these sponsorships, call Gardiner Rotarians Brent Hall, 441-0968, Chris Markos 329-3556 or Hallowell Rotarian Jayson Paré, 458-2906.

All proceeds from this tournament will provide needed funds for the Rotary Clubs charitable programs that include educational funds to scholars, assisting municipalities with public space projects, and providing assistance whenever they can.

The Gardiner Rotary meets every Thursday at The Boys and Girls Club of Greater Gardiner on Pray Street. For more information about Rotary or to attend a meeting, please contact Rotarian Anne Davis at 207-582-6893.
