Night bridge work on a stretch of U.S. Route 201 through Gardiner will start Monday and likely last through Friday, according to the Maine Department of Transportation.
Crews will do joint repair on a downtown bridge that crosses Cobbosseecontee Stream on Bridge Street, near its intersection with Water Street, between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. this week.
Drivers should allow extra time to get through that section of road during those hours, as flaggers will be controlling one-way traffic, the department said.
