OAKLAND —Nomination papers are available between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, starting Tuesday, Aug. 6, through Sept. 15, at Oakland Town Office. The following positions will be voted on during the November election: Town Council — one position, for a three-year term; Budget and Advisory — three positions, for four-year terms; RSU 18 — one position, for a one-year term; and RSU 18 — one position, for a three-year term.
