WATERVILLE — Educare Central Maine, an early learning program for children and their families, currently is accepting applications for both their full-day and part-day programs for children 3 to 5 years old. These developmentally appropriate programs offer children and their families a place to grow and learn.

Openings for the full-day program require families to have a child care subsidy. Subsidies are given through Tanf/Aspire or by the State of Maine’s Child Care Subsidy Program. To obtain a subsidy parents must contact the State of Maine Child and Family Services, Child Care Subsidy Program, at 624-7999.

The part-day program is also accepting applications for children 3 to five years old. This program has two sessions — a morning or an afternoon –and is offered Tuesday through Friday. This is a no cost program and all 4-year-old residents of AOS 92 (Waterville, Winslow, Vassalboro) are eligible; 3 year olds may be enrolled if space allows.

For more information about the programs, contact Educare Central Maine, 56 Drummond Ave., at 680-7200.
