AUGUSTA — A city man set for a trial Thursday on a charge of domestic violence instead pleaded guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct that accuses him of screaming insults at a woman.
Tyler O. Redlevske, 26, formerly of Belgrade, was placed on deferred disposition for a year with conditions that he not engage in criminal conduct and that he pay a monthly $25 supervision fee. If he is successful, the plea will be withdrawn and the case will be dismissed.
If not, he would be sentenced on the charge, which carries a maximum penalty of six months in jail and $1,000 in fines.
In exchange for the plea, a charge of domestic violence was dismissed by the district attorney’s office.
According to the complaint in Kennebec County Superior Court, the offense occurred March 11, 2013, in Sidney.
