If a picture is worth a thousand words, then there are volumes of stories to be told about the Waterville Fire Department and the people who have made the department what it is today. The Waterville Fire Department has a long and interesting history, and compiling that history is a project I have been working on for almost a year now. When this project is done, the history of the department will be placed into a new book.

I have collected many stories and photos of the men and women who have graced the doors of the department, but its story needs a little more help to bring it out.

I am looking for more old photos of the Waterville Fire Department from members of the department who have saved and recorded their time at the department.

I would like to thank all those who already have helped me in my collection of article and photos, but I hope anyone who has anything that would make this book a true history book will email or call me. I also will be glad to visit with those who think they might have stories or items of interest for the book.
