FAIRFIELD, HINCKLEY — Kennebec Valley Community College is offering a “Late Start” 12-week session of academic courses beginning Sept. 22.

Approximately a dozen courses required by a wide range of college programs are being offered in this compact “Late-Start” schedule to students not already registered for the 2014 fall semester.

These courses can be applied not only toward KVCC degree programs, but transferred to other colleges and universities, and offer an opportunity for students pursuing four-year degrees to earn credits toward those degrees while taking advantage of KVCC’s low tuition rate of $90 per credit hour.

By providing a series of commonly-required courses in a compact semester, KVCC hopes to give students another option for beginning or continuing an education.

The courses offered were chosen based on high demand and some are being provided online to increase the convenience for students.

The Late Start semester will end Dec. 13. To learn more about Late Start semester options, call 453-5822.
