VASSALBORO — Vassalboro Days is set for Sept. 6 and 7. The following events are planned.
Friday, Sept. 5
Free pizza and soda from noon until they run out at Maine Saving’s Federal Credit Union. Sponsored by the Vassalboro Business Association.
Saturday, Sept. 6, at Old Mill in the North
Great Thunder Chicken Drum, 9-10 a.m.
Craft Show, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Aalso featuring inflatable bounce house and slide, yard sale (across from Mill), The Fish Passage in V Town, meet our first responders, Touch a Truck for kids of all ages and Bubbles Galore!
Ducky Derby tickets, 9-11:30 a.m.
Fishy Stamp Art for kids, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
DJ Ronnie Dudley, 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
Face painting, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
Hot dogs, hamburgers and more, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
The Double-Dam Ducky Derby, noon, meet at the dam beside the Credit Union for the start.
Library book, bake sale and silent auction, 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 6, and Sunday, Sept. 7
Horse drawn wagon rides, corn maze, apple picking and more, 1-5 p.m., Lemieux’s Orchard, 210 Priest Hill Road.
Sunday, Sept. 7
$1 bag book sale, 9 a.m.-noon, Grange, East Vassalboro.
1-4 Sunday– Vassalboro Historical Society Open House, 1-4 p.m., Old Red School House, Route 32 .
