An 84-year-old Thorndike woman has died from injuries she suffered in a Searsmont accident a week ago, authorities said Friday.

Anne Brown was a passenger in a car driven by her husband, 81-year-old Willard Brown, when he pulled out onto Route 3 on Aug. 29 and into the path of another car, a 2001 Subaru, according to State Trooper Desiree Wuthenow. No charges are expected to be filed, she said.

Willard Brown and the three passengers in the other car were also injured in the accident, but they have all since been released from the hospital.

Anne Brown died this week at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor.
