Extension meeting set

The Somerset County Extension Homemakers’ will host the Annual Fall Maine State Meeting for the University of Maine Cooperative Extension Homemakers’ Sept. 26-27 at the New Horizons Community Church, 31 East Madison Road, Skowhegan.

Tours will start at 1 p.m. and the dinner is set for 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 26. Registration will start at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 27. The business meeting starts at 9 a.m., speakers, include John Ford (retired Warden). Lunch is set for noon and the business meeting will continue until after the silent auctions conclude around 2 p.m.

Registration deadline is Sept. 10. Cost is $15 is to cover the meals, rental of the church, any additional monies will go to the University of Maine Cooperative Extension Homemakers programs and charities.
