WHITEFIELD — Whitefield Community Day organizers have announced the schedule of events set for Saturday. All activities will take place at the Town Office unless otherwise indicated.

Activities include:

• Grand Army 5K road race will take place from 9 to 10 a.m. at Whitefield Elementary School. A fun run for children will take place after the 5K.

• Children’s games, crafts and face painting, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

• The historical society will be open, with a slideshow and items on display, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• The fire station with be open for tours from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tickets for a 50/50 raffle will be on sale.

• A craft fair, flea market and food tent will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• An art show and silent auction will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the fire station.

• Chain saw art with Dan Burns, 10-11 a.m.

• A K-9 demonstration, 11-11:30 a.m.

• Pie eating contest, 11:30-11:45 a.m.

• Penny scramble for children, 11:45 a.m.-noon.

• Music under the Tent: Double Jinx, noon; Cigar Box Junkies, 12:30 p.m.; and The Whitefields, 1 p.m.

• An Antiques Road Show with free appraisals provided by Lawrence Trueman, L.T. Auctions, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Two items per person.

• A spaghetti supper at the Arlington Grange will be held from 4:30 to 6 p.m. There is no cost — donations are welcome.

• Down home entertainment, 6:30-8 p.m., upstairs at the Arlington Grange.
