I am writing to express my support for Alice Elliott, a Democrat seeking to represent Richmond, Bowdoinham and Bowdoin (House District 55).
I have personally known Alice for 30 years, since we were camp counselors at Girl Scout Camp Pondicherry. She is a go-getter. Her energy and enthusiasm, combined with her well-read, thoughtful approach, make her an ideal candidate to work with other legislators in Augusta to serve our area and the state of Maine.
What I appreciate about Alice is her willingness to listen. She always wants to hear more about an issue and values input from all people involved. This approach will enable her to create bipartisan relationships that benefit all of us.
Alice is a strong supporter of education and takes a proactive approach. She appreciates teachers as a resource and supports them in their important work of educating Maine students.
