AUGUSTA — A Sabattus couple was injured while motorcycling Sunday afternoon when they crashed into a car on Route 3, police said.
Sgt. Christian Behr of the Augusta Police Department said Clay Beach, 56, and Pauline Beach, 59, were traveling east when the motorcycle, driven by Clay Beach, ran into a stopped sedan that was trying to turn left into North Country Harley-Davidson.
The couple was thrown from their motorcycle and taken to MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta with injuries that were not life-threatening, Behr said.
