AUGUSTA — A husband and wife injured in a motorcycle crash Sunday were treated and released from the hospital.

Clay Beach, 56, and his wife, Pauline Beach, 59, of Sabattus, were treated at MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta and released, according to a hospital spokeswoman.

The two were taken to the hospital Sunday after the motorcycle, which Clay Beach was driving, crashed into a stopped car on Route 3 and the two were thrown from the bike.

Police said they were traveling east when the motorcycle ran into the car, which was stopped to make a left turn into North Country Harley-Davidson.
