2:40 p.m., firefighters were called to Young Road to assist an elderly man whose riding lawn mower slid into Togus Pond, trapping the man in the water. Though able to breathe, he needed help getting out. He was taken to the hospital.

3:28 p.m., disorderly conduct was reported on Water Street.

4:01 p.m., there was an accident on Cony Road.

4:33 p.m., there was a two-vehicle accident on the exit 109 southbound off-ramp from Interstate 95.

5:26 p.m., firefighters were called to the intersection of Riverside Drive and Highland Avenue after a construction crew accidentally broke an underground natural gas line. Though firefighters determined there was no gas in the line, the break initially caused construction workers to flee the area. A lane of Riverside Drive was closed briefly.

Monday at 4:06 p.m., there was a report of a burglary on Williamson Road.

Monday at 9:52 a.m., there was a complaint about trespassing on Nash Road.

SIDNEY

Monday at 10:54 a.m., there was a report of a domestic dispute on Thayer Road.

2:40 p.m., there was a report of a tractor-trailer being driven erratically in the northbound lanes of Interstate 95 near mile 124.

VASSALBORO

Monday at 11:14 a.m., vandalism was reported on Bog Road.

10:38 p.m., one person was taken to MaineGeneral Medical Center’s Thayer Center for Health in Waterville after a motorcycle crash on Oak Grove Road. Additional details were unavailable.

WEST GARDINER

Monday at 9:56 p.m., there was a report of suspicious activity in the northbound lanes of Interstate 95 near mile 102.

ARRESTS

AUGUSTA

Monday at 2:29 p.m., Alexander Arthur Meserve, 21, of Augusta, was arrested on a charge of criminal trespass by police responding to a complaint on Front Street.

6:14 p.m., Leslie Wayne Abel, 45, of Lewiston, was arrested on a warrant on Hospital Street.

WHITEFIELD

Sunday, Erin J. Pushard, 34, of Pittston, was arrested on a warrant charging her with failure to appear on Grand Army Road. Pushard also was charged with failure to give notice of accident by quickest means.
