MONMOUTH — An AppleFest Apple Cake bake-off will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, at the Monmouth Museum, Main Street.
The contest is open to public. Registration forms can be brought to the museum by 9 a.m. the day of the event. All entries must be registered. Cakes will be judged for overall appearance, flavor and topping. Prizes will be $25 for first place, $15, second, and $10, third.
