Kudos to Ridgley Fuller for the excellent Maine Compass, “Senators use our tax dollars in unquestioning support of Israel,” on the Opinion page on Sept. 12.
While we so unfairly support Israel, we only increase the Muslim ill will around the world. Continued Israeli retaliations and aggressive actions will only deepen the wounds and never bring peace.
Congress and our Maine delegates need to stop this insane behavior, which only mires our country deeper into a world of hostility. Fairness is needed before there can be a basis for peace and a healing of hearts.
