AUGUSTA — Persons wanting to run for the office of District Supervisor for the Kennebec County Soil and Water Conservation District should contact the District office at 21 Enterprise Dr. Suite 1. To obtain nominating papers, call 622-7847, ext.3.
Nomination papers require 25 valid signatures in order to become a candidate and must be received at the District office by Oct. 31. One three-year term of office up for election. Individual must live on lands lying within the boundaries of the Kennebec County Soil and Water Conservation District.
The election is scheduled for Nov. 25. All completed ballots must be received by 4 p.m. Nov. 25.
