Alan Tibbetts, a Democrat, is a longtime Sidney resident who is seeking to represent the residents of Oakland and Sidney (House District 77) in Augusta this fall. I know that he will promote higher paying jobs and not let Maine’s middle class fall further behind.
Tibbetts believes that affordable health care should be available to all Mainers. I also respect Alan for his service in the Maine National Guard.
I am an independent voter who will be supporting Alan in November.
To make needed changes in Maine, we need new people in Augusta. Based upon our current economic condition, it is definitely “time for a change.” A seat in the Legislature should not be for a lifetime. New ideas and fresh perspectives often come with change. I urge others in District 77 to help make this change and vote for Alan this fall.
