GARDINER — Gardiner remained unbeaten Saturday thanks to a 4-1 victory over Leavitt in Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B field hockey action.

Sarah Morgan led the way for Gardiner (6-0-1) with one goal and two assists, while Nickyia Lovely and Abby Dyer each finished with one goal and one assist.

Grace Kelley also had a goal for the Tigers, while Ashley Mathieu scored the lone Leavitt (4-2-1) goal.

ERSKINE 3, LINCOLN 1: Nicole Wilson scored a pair of goals to help power the Eagles to the KVAC B win in South China.

Christina Hodgkins and Audrey Jordan also had a goal for Erskine (4-2-1).

Sophie Carbonneau scored the Lincoln (4-2-1) goal.

BREWSTER 5, KENTS HILL 0: Huskies goalie Sophie Boulet made 40 saves, but Kents Hill dropped its season opener in Wolfeboro, N.H.

SKOWHEGAN 6, CONY 2: Renee Wright scored three goals and assisted on another to pace the Indians to the KVAC A victory Friday.

Brooke Michonski, Haley Thebarge and Cassidy Clement also had goals for Skowhegan (6-1-0).

Delaney Keithley and Rebecca Coniff accounted for the two Cony (4-3-0) scores, while Madeline Lewis made 19 saves in goal.

LISBON 3, HALL-DALE 0: Molly French made 18 saves but it was not enough as the Bulldogs fell in a Mountain Valley Conference game in Lisbon Friday.

Hall-Dale falls to 1-5-0 with the loss, while Lisbon improves to 5-1-0.

BOYS SOCCER

 

OAK HILL 3, WINTHROP 1: After trailing 1-0 at halftime, Steve Knousl and Caleb Sturtevant combined on all three of the Raiders’ scores to lead Oak Hill (1-4-0) to the MVC win Friday.

Sturtevant found Knousl to tie the game at the 21:25 mark of the second half, and less than four minutes later Knousl returned the favor as Sturtevant scored what would be the game-winner.

Matt Sekerak had 13 saves for Winthrop (0-5-0) in the loss.

ERSKINE 1, CAMDEN HILLS 1: Trevor Hubbard scored off assists from Ryan Rodrigue and Luke Peabody as the Eagles earned a tie with the Windjammers on Friday.

Caleb Barden, Pheonix Throckmorton, Sam Newcombe and Josh Reed each had strong games defensively in helping preserve the tie for Erskine (4-0-1).

GIRLS SOCCER

 

MONMOUTH 2, LISBON 2: Monmouth rallied twice from one-goal deficits and settled for a tie with host Lisbon.

Trailing 1-0 at the half, Sidney Wilson scored to tie the game. Lisbon took the lead again on Deliah Schreiber’s second goal but Haley Fletcher matched it to force overtime.

Mikayla Cameron made three stops in net for the Mustangs (6-0-1), who outshot the Greyhounds, 40-5. Alexandra Sult made 30 saves for Lisbon (5-0-1).

RICHMOND 13. VALLEY 0: Kelsea Anair scored six goals to lead the Bobcats past the Cavaliers on Friday.

Autumn Acord had a hat trick for Richmond (5-0-0), while Meranda Martin and Kelsie Obi scored two goals each.

Samantha Watts made 13 saves for Valley (0-4-0).

GARDINER 2, LEAVITT 2: The Tigers jumped out to a 2-0 lead by halftime, but could not hold on and settled for a draw with the Hornets on Friday.

Morgan Carver and Lauren Chadwick each scored goals for Gardiner (0-3-2). Shannon O’Malley scored both goals for Leavitt (1-1-2).
