AUGUSTA – Augusta Adult and Community Education has openings in the following classes for October and November:

• Introduction to Computers, 8:30-11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7 — 10 weeks.

• Six Feet Under, 6-9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7.

• Holistic Healing Energy, 6-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8 — three weeks.

• Spanish I, 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8 — seven weeks.

• Sea Vegetables for Taste and Nutrition, 6-8:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 9.

• Painting on Silk, 6-9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14 — five weeks.

• Guitar I — Acoustic, 6-9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21 — six weeks.

• Make the Most of Your Money, 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23 — three weeks.

• Silver Jewelry Making, 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5 — three weeks.

• Popular Asian Dishes, 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18 — three weeks.

• Make a Rug with Fabric, 6-9 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25 — three weeks.

High School completion courses are offered from 8:30 a.m. through 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday. High school equivalency certificate test preparation and testing is also available by appointment and the College Transitions/Career Pathways program offers courses and counseling to assist students in upgrading their skills. Comprehensive Adult Student Assessment Systems counselors are available to provide educational assessments.
