AUGUSTA — Unitarian Universalist Community Church, 69 Winthrop St., will kick off its The Way of the Naturalist series from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 5, at the China School Forest in China.
The series provides an opportunity for contemplative appreciation of the natural world and a way for naturalists to be connected to the earth and to each other, to share their own personal experience, and to deepen their understanding of the natural world, according to a news release.
Future events include: the way of the owl, Sunday, Nov. 16; the way of the moon and stars, Feb. 15, 2015; the way of the birds, May 23, 2015; and the way of the flowers and ferns, June 14, 2015.
