NEWCASTLE — A five-course dinner of organic food will be offered at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 12, at Dandelion Spring Farm, Brick Hill Road.

Hosted by Dandelion Spring Farm, Straw’s Farm and Watershed Center for the Ceramic Arts, participants will sample dishes by chefs from Portland’s Fore Street Restaurant, and take home a hand-crafted ceramic dessert plate. Proceeds from the event will help the two farms and the Watershed Center rebuild the road they share.

Appetizers and cocktails will be served at 2 p.m. The Watershed campus will open at 1 p.m. for tours and a pottery sale.

The farms, both certified by Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association, produce vegetables, milk, eggs, beef, lamb, and pork, and supply farmers markets, community supported agriculture shares and restaurants.

Seating is limited. Tickets cost $125 per person. For more information or tickets, call 882-6075 or visit watershedceramics.org/advance-ticket-purchase/
