RICHMOND — A guided nature walk of the trails on Swan Island will be offered on Saturday, Oct. 4.
Participants will leave from the Swan Island Mainland ferry landing, at the corner of routes 197 and 24, before 9 a.m. Return time will be 11 a.m. — a later ferry is available for those who want to explore the island after the walk. Participants are welcome to bring a picnic lunch. Space is limited and reservations are required. Admission costs $8.
