Rep. Matt Pouliot , R-Augusta, was one of the few Republicans in the Legislature to be endorsed by the Maine State Employees Association. He doesn’t vote with one party or the other on every issue, and he has always been there when we need him.
Pouliot, who represents House District 86, voted to fund merit and longevity pay, which had been frozen for years. He also supported the authorization of our re-classification and voted for a state budget that protected state workers after years of cuts.
As a state employee, I’m voting for Rep. Matt Pouliot on Nov. 4 because he’s really gone to bat for us in his first term.
