On Nov. 4, voters in District 84 — Hallowell, Manchester and West Gardiner — can elect a truly outstanding candidate for the Maine House: Democrat Charlotte Warren of Hallowell.

I served with Charlotte on Hallowell city council. A natural leader and experienced educator, Charlotte taught me all about effective public service. A communications professional with her own thriving company, Charlotte understands how this governor’s policies make it harder for Maine small businesses and families to succeed.

I seek certain qualities in the people I want representing me: Someone who will take the job seriously, works hard, shares our common values, stands up for our community’s interests and listens to the people she meets. That describes Charlotte.

Charlotte has knocked on thousands of doors and talked to the folks she hopes to represent. She’ll bring that same work ethic to the State House. Charlotte Warren will make us proud in the Maine Legislature.
