Voters in House District 55 are fortunate to have Alice Elliott, a Democrat from Richmond, on their ballot. As a Maine native, Alice’s commitment to the state runs deep through her leadership in civic engagement initiatives, her understanding of economic issues, and her dedication to making Maine a better place to live.

Alice has the ability to communicate with people across the political spectrum. She understands that economic development in the state must occur in a way that leverages our strengths — Maine’s working people — while not sacrificing our natural resources nor apologizing for our location.

Alice understands the role education plays in improving living standards for Maine’s people. As an urban farmer and lover of the outdoors, Alice epitomizes the Mainer for the 21st century. We need legislators who can provide leadership to solve the difficult problems we face without partisanship or rancor. Alice Elliott is one of those individuals.
