STANDISH — The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the report of a missing 15-year-old girl from Standish.
Alexis Petty has contacted her mother and said she is OK but refused to say where she was, Detective Sgt. Paul Thorpe said in a news release.
The girl was last seen Friday at Bonny Eagle High School. She was recorded on the school’s surveillance cameras leaving with two unidentified males.
The sheriff’s department said police have no reason to believe the girl is in any danger, but the Criminal Investigation Division asks that anyone with information call the regional communications center at (207) 893-2810.
