Maine State Police have issued arrest warrants for two of the three men who robbed a Winterport man of his medicinal marijuana a week ago.

Both men are from Glenburn and they were identified after state police released photos of the brazen robbery this week and received more than three dozen tips from the public, according to Maine Public Safety spokesman Stephen McCausland.

The two suspects are identified as as 47-year-old Jeffrey Hurd and 35-year-old Scott Roberts. Both are considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information on their whereabouts should call state police in Augusta at 624-7076 or 911.

Hurd, who troopers say was brandishing a handgun during the robbery, is 5 feet 6 inches tall. Roberts is 5-foot-11. Both men weigh over 200 pounds.

Both men will be charged with robbery and impersonating a police officer.

Trooper Elisha Fowlie said the third man involved in the robbery, whose photos from a surveillance camera were not clear, does not have an arrest warrant issued for him at this time.
