WILTON — The Gail Saviello Memorial Tennis Scrambles benefit will be from 9 a.m. to mid-afternoon Saturday, Oct. 18, at the Academy Hill School tennis courts. Rain date is 11 a.m. Oct. 19. Tennis players will sign up at the courts the same day as the tournament. Each player will have different doubles partners during the day.
This fundraiser will benefit the school’s clay courts, and programs at Wilton Free Public Library. Donations are $15 adults, $5 for students 18 and younger.
Tyngtown Club of Wilton, sponsor of this event, will provide snacks and lunch for players. For more information, call Mary Ryan at 645-4878 or email mryan@maine.edu. Those who are unable to play, and would like to make a donation, make checks payable to Tyngtown Club and mail to Mary Ryan, P.O. Box 134, Wilton, ME 04294.
