FAYETTE — A needlework group will hold its first meeting from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, at Underwood Memorial Library.

Those interested in knitting, crocheting, cross-stitch and other kinds of needlework are encouraged to attend and finish a project, learn a new skill or share or teach a beginner.

Depending on interest, a longer gathering time or two meetings a month will be considered.
