We highly endorse Christine Burstein, a Democrat from Lincolnville, for state representative in District 96. Christine is our sister-in-law, but that is not reason enough for our belief that she will be the best representative for the people of Maine.
We grew up in a family dedicated to public service and have learned what makes a first-rate public servant.
We know that there are problem creators and problem solvers. Christine is a problem solver who has made every attempt to personally meet as many potential constituents as possible. Anyone who spends that much time and effort to hear what is concerning people will spend that kind of time and effort to help as much as she can.
As a really decent person, a wife, a mother, and a nurse practitioner, Christine seeks only to make things better for as many people as possible. Please give her that chance.
