WATERVILLE — Maine’s First Lady Ann LePage recently visited Mount Merici Academy and its students and filled them in on the life of Maine’s “First Dog.”
With an attentive audience of kindergarteners, first and second graders, LePage read “Baxter in the Blaine House,” a book written about the LePage family dog. The students learned that Baxter loves to eat, spends his free time in warm spots around the Blaine House, and enjoys being a member of Maine’s first family.
