I grew up in a family-owned business that has existed for three generations. I chose to be a lawyer and I work in the Office of the Attorney General as chief of the Consumer Protection Division.
I have served on the Augusta Planning Board for the past seven years, where my goal is always to balance the development needs of businesses with the best interests of the residents.
When businesses ask the city to provide them with TIF revenues to locate or expand in Augusta, I will vote for the proposals that provide the greatest return on taxpayer investment. I confess, I will not be a “rubber stamp.” I will judge each and every proposal on its merits and do what is best for Augusta’s residents.
Please vote for me on Tuesday, Nov. 4, as the best candidate for Ward 1 city councilor.
