Come November, I will be voting for Dave Rollins for mayor of Augusta. I attend many of our City Council meetings, and I have observed Dave over the past eight years. He truly believes in Augusta and he is a great cheerleader for our city.
I’ve watched him listen patiently to residents who come before the council and he asks them thoughtful questions to clarify the issues before he votes.
Dave is a champion of business, fully aware of its role in increasing our tax base and in providing employment opportunities; however, he also is fully aware that businesses and residential neighborhoods aren’t always compatible, and he makes an effort to weigh the interests of both sides. On Nov. 4, I hope Dave Rollins will get your vote.
