AUGUSTA — Two men were sentenced Monday morning in Kennebec County Superior Court on separate drunken driving offenses.
Mark M. Beaulieu, 42, of Waterville, was ordered to spend five years in prison with all but six months suspended and three years’ probation. He had pleaded guilty to operating under the influence and obscuring motor vehicle plate marks, which occurred May 29 in Waterville.
His license and registration privileges were suspended for 10 years and he was fined $2,100.
In exchange for the guilty pleas, charges of endangering the welfare of a child and operating a motor vehicle without a license were dismissed.
Gary R. Christie, 31, formerly of Vassalboro and now of Windham, was sentenced to three years in prison, with all but seven months suspended, and two years’ probation after he pleaded guilty to operating after habitual offender revocation, operating under the influence and violating condition of release, which occurred April 23 in Winslow. Christie was fined $1,700 and his license and registration privileges were suspended for three years.
