The Farmington Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding two people suspected of stealing from Walmart.

Thomas Mulkern, 29, and Angelina Carrigan-Sounier, 25, are suspected in recent thefts from the Farmington Walmart and are wanted on arrest warrants, according to a press release Thursday from Officer Derek MacDonald. Police did not have information on where the pair live.

The two may be staying in the Livermore Falls or Jay area, MacDonald said.

Police are not saying what the two are suspected of taking, police secretary Bonnie Pomeroy said.

Mulkern previously was a key witness for the prosecution in the high-profile arson trial of Raymond Bellavance Jr., who burned down the Grand View Topless Coffee Shop in Vassalboro in 2009.

Mulkern was granted immunity for testifying that he helped carry gasoline cans and watched Bellavance pour out the gas and then light the fire, which forced the owner and six family members, including two infants, to flee from their rooms at the former motel.

The Farmington Police Department asks anyone with information to call 778-6311 or their local police department.
