Ann McFeatters’ commentary (“Voters have no clue how to solve the nation’s problems,” Nov. 9) about voters being clueless is right on the money, however, she is too kind in her remarks.

McFeatters points out how issues important to most Americans such as increasing the minimum wage, gun violence, climate change, health care and immigration are not in sync with their choices on Election Day. Why ordinary, everyday folks, meaning most of us, would vote in large numbers for a party that openly opposes dealing with the very issues we need to address is misguided at the least, delusional seems more like it. Hang on folks, we’re in for a bumpy ride in the years ahead.
