WATERVILLE — Online registration is open for the 2015 Indoor Insanity 5K event set for Sunday, Jan. 18, 2015, at Colby College, according to a news release from Maine Indoor Air. Runners and walkers of all ages and abilities are welcome. Free T-shirts are available for registrations received by Jan. 7. Event day registration for all heats opens at 7 a.m., with the first heat starting at 8 a.m. The event ends by 11 a.m.
Proceeds be used to install radon gas mitigation systems in low-income housing where radon gas has been detected at dangerous levels. The EPA lists radon gas as the leading cause of lung cancer after smoking.
